About the Event
Even though being a mother means you are never alone, it can be a very lonely experience. In our ancient and not so long ago cultures, family members and friends lived close by. Grandmas, mothers, aunts, cousins... 'the tribe'... 'the village', as it was named, all lived together in the same the community. So new mothers were very rarely 'alone'. Nowadays motherhood, looks and feels very different, especially the first year of baby's life. Many moms feel stuck at home, with no one to talk to triggering feelings of loneliness and isolation that are not healthy for mama or baby.
Join me as I guest facilitate Montefiore Nyack's New Mom Circle with Patrícia Soriano Guzmán IBCLC, PMH-C, BSBA. Together we will explore ways to create your own mama tribe, one where you feel seen, heard, understood, connected, and a little bit more human on your motherhood journey.
